Hilltops
Cabernet Sauvignon 2002

Deep red-purple; clean cassis/blackcurrant fruit aromas are followed by a palate anchored on blackcurrant fruit, but multi-faceted, with a tangy, savoury edge, and well-worked oak. The components are in balance but needs time to weld together.

Tasting Notes

Colour: Deep red with purple tints

Nose: Fresh cassis/blackcurrant and mint aromas

Palate: Complex palate with red berries flavours and fine,
silky tannins

Style: Full bodied wine matured for 12 months in 100% French oak barriques

Serve with: Red meat, smoked or gamey meats and strong cheeses

Best drinking: Now until 2010

Deep red with purple edges. The ripe varietal cabernet characters of cassis and mint are backed by a subtle herb and wood influence. Solidly structured on the palate with an ample flavour weight of blackberry fruits assisted by a firm tannin backbone. Highly Recommended
