Colour: Deep purple-red
   
Nose: Dark cherry and blackcurrant aromas are matched by subtle spicy oak
   
Palate: A very complex palate with chocolate, red berries flavours and fine-grained tannins
   
Style: Matured for 12 months in 50% French and 50% American oak barriques
   
Serve with: Red meat, smoked meat, poultry, and cheeses
   
Best drinking: 2004 to 2008
